Relationships of psychotherapist`s emotional intelligence, job stress and bur

Abstract
The purpose of this study is identified of relationships of psychotherapist¡¯s emotional intelligence, job stress and burnout through empirical test. Hypotheses and research model was constructed by based on the reviewing the previous studies. Questionnaire survey was conducted with psychotherapist, working now-scale proved in pre-studies was revised fit to psychotherapist. After the author analyzed relationships between emotional intelligence, job stress, and psychological burnout as study model, empirical test was carried out. The study results are as follows. First, emotional intelligence at high level of psychotherapist reduced job stress, and psychological burnout. Second, in the relationship where emotional intelligence affects psychological burnout mediated by job stress, Emotional intelligence are reduced job stress and it is leads to decreased psychological burnout. In conclusion, emotional intelligence at high level is expected that reduction of job stress and psychological burnout of psychotherapist would lead to increase in treatment performance, and satisfaction in job and there¡¯s life.
